Teflon (Polytetrafluoroethylene) provides
exceptional chemical, electrical, mechanical and thermal properties for a multitude of applications. from simple washers and
conveyor rollers to critical electrical and electronic parts. virgin teflon is produced
to meet the requirements of mil-p-19468a and
ams3651d. it has one of the lowest
dielectric constant and dissipation factors of any solid material. it also has
exceptionally high volume resistivity.
nonflammable, teflon will operat in
continuous service at -550°f. teflon is
almost totally unaffected by the chemicals usually encountered in commercial use. teflon has lowest coefficient of friction
(.01-.04) of any solid, low friction surface, colorless, tasteless, non-toxic,
non-corrosive properties-make teflon ideal
